About the Department

The Community Building Office's Department of Finance and Procurement consists of three units: procurement, financial management, and financial services. Our department is a support function for the entire office and includes processes for finance, purchasing, payroll, rental administration, and procurement.

It is within financial services that you will work, alongside 20 engaged colleagues responsible for accounting, rental administration, purchasing, and payroll management for the entire office. Our function contributes to making the whole work — and we do it with quality, precision, and great care.

You will have your place in a newly renovated and modern office landscape on Trädgårdsgatan in central Norrköping, close to both restaurants and good transport links. Your Responsibilities

As a finance assistant, you will become an important part of our service function and a central contact point for the office's financial questions, together with your colleagues and team leader. You will be responsible for parts of the office's invoice management, supplier invoices, and customer invoicing, contributing to ensuring that each part is correct and handled in a timely manner in our system Raindance.

You will also have the opportunity to step into other administrative and finance-related tasks and assignments that arise in the unit's daily work and collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver the best possible quality-focused results.

As a finance assistant with us, you will be a central part of our financial flow — a structuring force that creates security, stability, and excellent service for our office.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or post-secondary education focused on finance. You have experience in invoice management, accounts payable, and financial reporting, preferably within the public sector.

Furthermore, we see that you are accustomed to working in financial systems and have good knowledge of Excel, as these tools are important elements in your daily work with us.

As a person, you are skilled at understanding customer needs, being attentive in meetings with both external and internal contacts where collaboration is a natural part and strength of your working style. We also see that you value teamwork and contribute to both knowledge sharing and a positive work environment.

You are meticulous, creative, and structured with good analytical skills, where you independently organize and prioritize your work effectively. Your good flexibility and stress resistance make it easy for you to adapt to the situations, working methods, and challenges you encounter in your work — where you want to be part of the solution!
